今後アパレルのサイトはカタログからWEBに移行する会社が多くなるのでは

フランスをベースに活躍するドイツ人のファッションフォトグラファーMel Karch

２年ぐらい前にファッションのカタログの仕事で一緒にパリで撮影をしました、

女性フォトグラファーでアニーリボビッツのアシスタントを経て、ファッションフォトグラファーになりました

イタリアンマリークレールなど、エディトリアルを中心に活動しています

彼女の創りだす独特の世界観とモデルのセレクトが、とっても新鮮で好きだなあと思っています

明るいけとちょっと暗い世界観が彼女のスタイルです

DECOB ECO BAG EXHIBITION IN TORONT CANADA

CANADA TORONT  で行われたECO BAG EXHIBITIONに参加しました

 カナダのトロントのギャラリーで行われたエコバックの展覧会にエコバックのデザインを出しました、私のデザインバックは評判が良かったらしく、すぐに売れたみたいです

今回のデザインのテーマはECOだったので、私も撮影とか、いらなくなった洋服とか、倉庫の中で眠っていた、廃棄寸前の素材の再利用で全部手作りしました　けっこう時間かかりました

が、けっこう可愛く出来て良かったです。ピンクの素材はミュージックビデオの撮影の時に使ったエクステンションの残りです

New York photo shoot was very wonderful experience

９月は１ヶ月間撮影と編集で東京にかんずめでしたが、東京から戻ってすぐに今度はNew Yorkで撮影があり、４日ほど滞在してまたLos Angelesに戻るという、いつもながらのスーパージェットセッター状態が続いています。

今回の撮影はNEW YORK のSOHOにスタジオのある、綺麗で洗練されたカッコイイ物撮りフォトグラファーKEATE と一緒の仕事でした。このプロジェクトは２００９年夏ぐらいに発表される予定ですので、どうぞお楽しみに、、

フォトグラファーはやっぱりセンスが大切だなと現場で実際に撮影を見て実感！！

撮影の早さとその場でレイアウトを組んで行くリタッチの凄さ、

プロップスタイリストの仕事は科学の実験室のような用具とテクニックと、やはりセンスだなと思いました

NEW YORKは寒くなりかけで、またCaliforniaに戻ったら３５度以上の真夏で、ちょっと体調が疲れ気味ですが、１１月末の撮影や年末のパリ撮影の準備で大忙しです、

１２月の寒いパリで春夏撮影はそうとう難題で、毎年ロケーションに悩みます、

今年は思い切ってコートダジュール、南フランスまで南下するか？　検討中モナコやニース、マルセイユもどうもよさそう、、、

今日からついに展覧会がスタートしました

これから８月１５日までの３ヶ月間　Diesel Denim Gallery Aoyama 2F　にて開催していますので、ぜひぜひチェックして楽しんで下さい、私のディレクションしたメイキングムービーも展覧会の準備段階が見れるので、ぜひぜひ展覧会にいらして下さい

今回の展覧会の準備から開催まで約半年間の間ヘルプをしてくれたLos Angeles & Tokyoのスタッフの皆様 フィギアのモデルになってぐるぐる巻きを耐えてくれたモデルの皆様　なんとか開催する事が出来ました、ご協力本当にありがとうございました　感謝しています

Felipe Dupouy Bio

Born in Santiago, Chile, Felipe Dupouy  moved to the US when he was twelve. He received his BFA in Photography from Pasadena's Art Center College of Design in California. With a multicultural perspective, he expresses through photography how he experiences the world emotionally. The experience of being there, of deeply connecting with people and places is just as important as the prints are. He lives in Los Angeles.

ロスアンジェルスダウンタウンでは毎月第３木曜日の夜にアートショーが開催されています

５th street とSpring stのコーナーの近くにアートギャラリーが沢山あって、最近すっごく盛り上がっています

私の大好きなフォトグラファーFelipe Dupouy の建築写真の展覧会がダウンタウンで開催されていました、彼とはこの前日本のスターバックスの広告の仕事で写真撮影をお願いしたばっかりで、私のもっとも信頼するクリエーティブディレクターの

荒尾犬帥(Kensui Arao)との仕事で、犬帥(Kensui)も私もFelipeの事はとても気に入って仕事をお願いしました、なんとなく懐かしくホットするような写真が印象的なフォトグラファーで

最近の私の中では１番のおすすめです、南米チリのサンティアゴ出身という変わったバックグラウンドも魅力的です。

Miho Kinomura is a Creative Director and Film Director, who currently divides her time between creative studio in Los Angeles and Tokyo.

Diesel Denim Gallery での展覧会まであと２４days 雑誌やwebのプレスプロモーションのアレンジや、日本に来日する準備、Diesel Staffとのミーティング等、自宅のあるロスアンジェルスに戻ってからも大忙しの毎日を送っています

今回一緒に展覧会をするテープアーチスト　Mark Jenkinsについて少し紹介しておきましょう

私が彼を知ったのは、2007年頃でロスアンジェルスにあるBLK Galleryのキューレーターの本がきっかけでした、いつもみんながつかっているパッキングテープを使って人間や動物のオブジェを作るアーチスト、実にリアルな人間の型がビニールテープでできているなんて、なんでこんな変わった素材を思いついたのか？　不思議な作品に興味を持ちました

なんでビニールテープを素材にしたか？まだMark本人には聞いていないので、今度　チャンスがあったら聞いてみましょう

このたび、イタリアのプレミアム・カジュアル・ブランドDIESELは、「DIESEL DENIM GALLERY AOYAMA」にて、Mark JenkinsとMiho Kinomura による展覧会を開催いたします。

 

Title : Glazed Paradise

Concept : Glazed Paradise (光沢のある一瞬のパラダイス)今回のインスタレーションは観客が夢中になるような不思議な世界を演出します。観客は夢のような現実の世界に参加し、ハイパーリアリズムという至福の世界に引きつけられていくことでしょう。今もっとも世界で注目されているインスタレーションアーティストMark Jenkinsの日本での初めての展覧会。フィルムディレクターの木之村美穂がディレクションするMarkのメイキング映像も見逃せない

マークジェンキンスはパッキングテープを使い彫像作品を作るアメリカのインスタレーションアーティスト。

彼の作品の特徴として男性、女性、子供、赤ちゃん、きりん、犬、アヒルなど様々なジャンルのモチーフ達をパッキングテープで作り上げる。彼の作品の代表作としては人を逆さになってゴミ箱の中に突き刺さっているユニークな作品がある。彼の作品は都心の街並やストリートや、自然の中などで見る事ができ、屋外作品としては、ビルの外壁や壁に取り付ける事もあれば、インサイドのカフェの中、高校のロッカールーム、トイレなどユニークな場所でも見られる、

彼の作品はギャラリー内でも展示をしている。彼の作品は世界中で見られ、今までにニューヨーク、ロサンゼルス、ロンドン、サンパウロそしてベツレヘムでインスタレーションをしている。今回の青山Diesel Gallery の展覧会は彼にとっては初めての日本上陸となる。

 Miho Kinomura 木之村美穂　Bio

木之村 美穂はロサンゼルスをベースとし、現在東京とロサンゼルスを行き来するクリエイティブディレクター／フィルムディレクターである。日本でファッションデザイナーとしてキャリアを積み、その後ニューヨークへ渡りファッション専門のプロダクション会社STUDIO D.O.G.INC.をたちあげる。プロデューサー＆フィルムディレクターとして資生堂、パルコ、スワロフスキーやビームス等ファッション関連の広告を数多く手がける。

今回はMark Jenkinsとの初めてのコラボレーションとして展覧会のスタートから完成までのメイキングムービーをディレクションする。

STUDIO D.O.G.INC

1990年にニューヨークでスタートしたファッション専門のプロダクションカンパニー。現在はロサンゼルスをベースに独自のグローバルなネットワークを使い、世界中の優秀なクリエイター達とコラボレーションをしてきた。

Curator Bio

Established at New York in 1990, as a production company which is a profession of fashion industry.

Miho Kinomura is the representative of the STUDIO D.O.G. INC , located in Los Angeles, which collaborates with outstanding creators across the board.  In her activities, she has expanded her portfolio by using global networking in fashion brand advertising, commercial film, music video, designing catalogs and website.

Miho used Vincent Gallo for the advertisement of Parco, Japanese department store. This was the first time for Vincent who came out in Japanese commercial film and Miho created the fad of Vincent Gallo in Japan.

In a Parco gallery, it was in the news that Miho created the collaboration among a worldwide photographer, Ellen Von Unwerth's exhibition and commercial film. In the BEAMS 30th anniversary advertisement “Tokyo Style Clash Hot or Not

Only existing in Tokyo and New York, DIESEL DENIM GALLERY is a store where denims are displayed as art works, providing creative shopping experiences. It also supports young artists actively, by holding art exhibitions in the store.

In this unique creative space, you can also enjoy DIESEL DENIM GALLERY Collection, which are the most prestigious items of Diesel.  Since 2001, these rare items are released only in limited numbers every season, and they are placed as “wearable art”.

Moreover, at DIESEL DENIM GALLERY AOYAMA, there will be the store installations and art exhibitions featuring different artists each time on the 1^st and 2^nd floor.  On the 1^st floor, the interior will have a complete new look twice a year by an art installation.  On the 2^nd floor, which is known as gallery floor, there will be art exhibitions four times a year, and will be selling limited T-shirts that’s designed by the artist and his/her actual artwork.
